Thousands of New York City residents flooded the streets on Thursday to celebrate the New York Knicks’ historic NBA championship—their first title since 1973. The celebration began at Battery Park and proceeded through Manhattan’s iconic “Canyon of Heroes” before concluding at City Hall, where Mayor Zohran Mamdani took the stage to honor the triumphant team.
